Banana Fudge

Chaucer Products Used:

Ingredients

  • 113g (3.9oz) Butter
  • 584g (20.5oz) Brown Sugar
  • 166g (5.8oz) Evaporated Milk
  • 13g (0.4oz) Chaucer Banana Powder
  • 502g (18.4oz) Icing Sugar

Method

  • Step 1
    Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Place a medium sized sauce pan on the stove and dump the butter in.
  • Step 3
    Turn the burner to medium heat.
  • Step 4
    Add the brown sugar and the evaporated milk. Stir occasionally until butter melts and then stir continuously.
  • Step 5
    Once it begins to boil stop stirring and allow to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Remove from heat and pour into a pyrex measuring cup or bowl.
  • Step 7
    Stir in the banana powder.
  • Step 8
    Gradually stir in the icing sugar until fully integrated.
  • Step 9
    Scrape into the prepared pan. Allow to set for a few hours.
  • Step 10
    Invert onto cutting board and cut into squares with a sharp knife.
  • Step 11
    Serve and enjoy!
