Chaucer Foods Achieves Top Score on RSPO Shared Responsibility Scorecard: A Commitment to Sustainability 

We are thrilled to share that Chaucer Foods has received an exceptional score of 8.6 out of 10 on the RSPO Shared Responsibility Scorecard.

This achievement is a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and we are incredibly proud of our baked team for their hard work and dedication. 

The RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) Shared Responsibility Scorecard evaluates companies based on their efforts to uphold sustainable practices throughout their palm oil supply chains. The average score across all certified companies is just 2.7, making our score of 8.6 a remarkable accomplishment. In fact, of the 2006 organizations assessed, only 116 achieved scores above 8.5, placing us among an elite group of sustainability leaders. 

Dale Williams, Technical Manager at Chaucer Foods, commented, “This is a great result for the Baked team at Chaucer. We were the first crouton manufacturer to become members of the RSPO and use segregated sustainable palm in all our palm oil containing products. As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact as a company, using sustainable palm is a key part of this.”
