Ingredients
- 200g (7oz) Potato
- 15g (0.5oz) Butter
- 30g (1oz) Sour cream
- 25g (0.9oz) Shredded cheese
- 5g (0.2oz) Chives, chopped
- 10g (0.35oz) Chaucer Salsa Sprinkle (or try any of Chaucer’s other Baked Sprinkles)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200°C or 400°F. -
Step 2
Wash and scrub the potato thoroughly. Pat it dry with a towel. -
Step 3
Prick the potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking. -
Step 4
Place the potato directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the potato is tender when pierced with a fork. -
Step 5
Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Set aside. -
Step 6
Grate the cheese if it’s not already shredded. -
Step 7
Chop the chives finely. -
Step 8
Once the potato is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. -
Step 9
Cut the potato in half lengthwise and gently fluff the insides with a fork. -
Step 10
Drizzle or brush the melted butter over the cut surface of the potato. -
Step 11
Top the potato with a dollop of sour cream. -
Step 12
Sprinkle with shredded cheese. -
Step 13
Evenly distribute the Chaucer Salsa Sprinkle over the cheese. -
Step 14
Top with chives.
