Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 Head Cauliflower Washed And Dried
  • 90g Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 60g Chaucer Freeze-dried Cauliflower
  • 60g Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 40g Olive Oil
  • 120g Milk
  • 120g All-purpose Flour
  • 25g Olive Oil
  • 20g Garlic Powder
  • 12g Salt
  • 6g Pepper
  • Buffalo Sauce To Taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 450 Fahrenheit.
  • Step 2
    Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, mix milk, flour, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and whisk until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Toss the cauliflower pieces in the batter and then place them in a large strainer. Allow any excess batter to drip off for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    In a medium bowl, combine Panko bread crumbs, freeze-dried cauliflower, seasoned bread crumbs, and olive oil. Toss the battered cauliflower in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Step 6
    Place the cauliflower on a parchment-lined pan and bake for 15 minutes. Flip and cook for 8-10 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender-crisp and the coating is crispy.
  • Step 7
    If desired, toss the cooked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce before serving.
