Orange

By far the most popular citrus fruit and highly compatible with other flavours, oranges have an intense natural taste and colour, which is preserved during the freeze-drying process. Their sweet flavour has subtle hints of other citrus fruits, and they can be perfectly paired with a variety of herbs, spices, hard cheeses, fish and meat.

Freeze-dried oranges are available with or without their skin, in a variety of formats, from slices and pieces, to a seedless powder variety.

Add freeze-dried orange pieces to a cold brew frappé to bring vibrant colour and a citrus element to the drink. Freeze-dried orange is great visually and adds flavour to marinades and dry rubs such as Piri Piri.
